The Switch release has been delayed to an unspecified time.
Techland just announced that the Nintendo Switch release of Dying Light 2 Stay Human (Cloud Version) has been delayed. The cloud-based Switch release was originally supposed to be out on February 4, 2022 alongside the non-cloud versions available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Techland says that they are aiming to deliver the game to the Switch "within six months from the original date." The studio is asking Switch fans for patience while they work to "provide fans with the gaming experience at the level they deserve and that Techland wants to provide."
A reason for the lengthy delay wasn't specified. This isn't Techland's first rodeo with releasing games on the Switch. The studio previously released Dying Light: Platinum Edition on the Switch in 2021.
